Paraglider, and Red Bull Athlete Paul Guschlbauer takes flight at Cuixmala

Paul Gaulschbauer and his wife Magdelena are in virtually the geographic middle of their adevnture, travelling from Northen most Alaska, to Southern most Aregntina. Through word of mouth via extended Cuixmala family, we caught wind that they were in proximity of the Cuixmala airstrip. Given the nature of thier aircraft, (a much customised Super-Cub light aircraft), the type Magdelena told us gets overtaken by cars travelling along the coast, they had cell phone reception, and we were able to get word to them asking them to stop by. What started as a normal welcome at the CIX airstrip, quickly turned into something far less predicatble.
